More Site Surveys.
Rooftops and Home Jobs Apart.
Built for Commercial Installers.

A facilities manager with a warehouse roof talks to two or three solar firms before they book a survey. We bring those commercial surveys in, and keep homeowner and utility-scale searches in their own path.

We build the search, ads and inquiry pages.

Frequently Asked Questions

Questions about commercial solar marketing? We have got honest answers.

What does commercial solar contractor marketing include? expand_more
Commercial solar contractor marketing for an independent firm includes a company page that states the license your state requires and your SEIA membership if you hold one, separate pages for rooftop systems, carports, small on-site ground mounts and maintenance of existing commercial systems, a terms page that explains what a survey covers and how a quote is built, a page for facilities managers and property managers, Google Business Profile upkeep for each office, Google Ads split by new-system and maintenance intent with exclusions for jobs, courses, home solar and utility-scale tenders, Meta retargeting for managers still comparing firms, and call and form tracking that reports cost per survey request. HeyLead does the marketing. The contractor keeps every technical and pricing decision.
Is this for home solar installers, utility-scale developers or lead resellers? expand_more
No. This service is only for independently owned commercial solar contractors, the firms that sell rooftop, carport and small on-site systems to businesses. A home solar installer, a utility-scale developer and a directory that sells leads buy marketing differently and are not who these pages are written for. We never describe a firm as licensed, certified, registered or a member of anything unless it is, because those words belong to the body that grants them, not to marketing.
How is marketing a commercial solar contractor different from marketing a home solar installer? expand_more
The buyer is a facilities manager, a business owner or a property manager, not a homeowner at the kitchen table. They have a roof survey, a structural question and a budget round between them and a signature, they compare two or three firms on system size, lead time and who holds the license, and they ask about interconnection and warranty terms before they ask about anything else. So the marketing leads with credentials, what a survey covers, how a quote is built and how long a job takes, rather than a same-day consultation and a rebate headline. Campaigns separate commercial intent from homeowner intent, the facilities manager is an audience in their own right, and the firm has to explain what it adds over a national installer without running one down.
What rules apply to commercial solar contractor marketing in the United States? expand_more
Most of the rules sit with your state. The contractor or electrical license it requires is the first thing a facilities manager checks and the first thing the site states. If you are a SEIA member, the site says so in SEIA's words, and we note that SEIA describes a mixed membership of 1,200 member companies rather than a roll of commercial installers. On incentives, we publish no credit rate. The IRS instructions for Form 3468 say P.L. 119-21 terminates the section 48E credit for a wind or solar facility placed in service after 2027 where construction begins after July 4, 2026, and that the rate depends on wage, apprenticeship and other conditions, so every incentive line on your site sends the buyer to their own tax adviser. Every claim about output, payback and interconnection timing is yours to confirm before it runs, and we never promise a bill saving or an approval date in any ad or on any page.
Can you keep commercial intent and homeowner intent apart? expand_more
Yes, and it is the core of how we structure the account. Commercial searches name a warehouse, a factory, a parking lot or a business. Homeowner searches name a house, a roof size in panels or a rebate. Each gets its own campaign, landing page, budget and report, so you can see which one brings surveys and which one brings maintenance visits, and the homeowner searches are excluded unless you want them.
Will you use client logos and testimonials? expand_more
Only with written permission you already hold. We never present one site's output as what every site gets, we do not write or buy reviews, and we do not promise a bill saving, a payback period or a connection date in any ad or on any page.
How do you compete with the big national installers? expand_more
By answering the questions a facilities manager asks when a national quote lands: can an independent firm design and build this system, who does the engineering, who does the maintenance afterwards and how long will the roof be busy. Your pages answer each plainly, with your own figures, and never name a competitor or run one down. The manager decides.
How do you bring in facilities managers as well as business owners? expand_more
With a page written for them: what a survey needs, what the structural and electrical checks cover, how the system is monitored and reported after handover and how maintenance is scheduled. Plus search presence for the terms managers and their assistants actually use. Your team gets a link to send after a first call, and reports show how many inquiries arrive through it.
How do you track a signed system back to marketing? expand_more
Calls, forms and survey requests are tagged with the search, ad or page behind them. Where your quoting software records signed contracts and system sizes, we link those back so reports show cost per survey request in USD and, where you share it, cost per signed system. You see surveys and systems, not clicks.
Do you promise rankings, survey numbers or a signed contract? expand_more
No. Nobody can promise a search position, and survey numbers depend on your market, your pricing, your lead times and how your office answers the phone. What we promise is clear pages, tightly controlled campaigns and honest reporting on the inquiries that result.
What do you need from us to start? expand_more
Your website address, the system sizes you build and what a survey covers, your typical lead time from survey to switch-on, the roof and carport types you take on, which services you want more of, and any Google Ads, Meta or analytics accounts you run. We begin with a free audit and tell you what we would fix first.
