Indianapolis is a big map with a small-town search habit. People in Carmel search with Carmel in the query, and Google answers with results near them, so a single metro page rarely wins anywhere.
The north side is a run of Hamilton County suburbs, Carmel, Fishers, Westfield and Noblesville, each with its own center of gravity, from the Arts and Design District to the Nickel Plate blocks to the square in Noblesville.
South of the city, Greenwood pulls from Johnson County along I-65. Downtown's Mile Square is condos and apartments, while Broad Ripple and Irvington are older streets with different needs than a new subdivision in Westfield.
Zillow, MIBOR and Realtor.com own the broad listing searches, and no independent firm wins those. Reporting is in dollars.
