Mobile-First Responsive Design
Designed for How People Actually Browse.

Every detail is built for mobile users, who make up most of your traffic. We design and build experiences that feel native on phones and tablets first, then scale cleanly to larger screens. In the UAE, that means a phone-first buyer who will tap to call or message you on WhatsApp.

Why "Mobile Friendly" Is No Longer Enough

The Cost of Poor Mobile Experience

  • Google uses mobile-first indexing, so desktop-only thinking hurts rankings on Google.ae too
  • Mobile users leave slow or hard-to-use sites faster than desktop users
  • Touch targets, form fields and navigation that work on desktop often fail on phones
  • Core Web Vitals are stricter on mobile and affect both paid and organic costs

Our Philosophy

Mobile is the main experience for most visitors. In Dubai, people search on the move, between meetings in Business Bay, in the Marina or in a taxi on Sheikh Zayed Road, often in English and Arabic. We design and build mobile-first, then enhance for larger screens. The result is a faster, easier site that converts better on the devices people really use.

Mobile-First Design & Development Done Right

Design for Thumbs & Small Screens

  • Touch-First Interactions: Large tap targets, generous spacing, and no navigation or tooltips that depend on hover.
  • Thumb-Zone Layouts: Main buttons, WhatsApp and call links, and form fields placed where thumbs naturally reach on a phone.
  • Progressive Disclosure: Show the most important information first, and fold away secondary content on small screens.

Performance & Technical Mobile Quality

  • Core Web Vitals on Mobile: Careful image optimisation, critical CSS, font loading strategies and server tuning that matter most on mobile networks.
  • Responsive Images & Assets: Proper srcset, modern formats (WebP/AVIF) and lazy loading that does not delay what visitors see first.
  • Form & Input Optimization: Proper input types, autofill, minimal typing and friction-reducing patterns for mobile keyboards, including Arabic and English input and UAE phone number formats.

Our Mobile-First Design Process

01

Mobile Traffic & Behaviour Audit

Analyse device mix, mobile conversion rates, speed metrics and common drop-off patterns on phones and tablets.

02

Mobile User Journey Mapping

Map the main tasks users need to complete on mobile and find the friction points unique to small screens and touch.

Mobile-First Design & Prototyping

Design the core experience for mobile first, then adapt and enhance it for tablet and desktop, including right-to-left layouts where you need Arabic.

04

Performance & Technical Build

Build with mobile Core Web Vitals, responsive images, touch-friendly components and fast loading as must-haves.

05

Real-Device Testing

Test on real phones and tablets (several OS versions and connection speeds), not just desktop emulators.

06

Launch & Ongoing Mobile Optimisation

Monitor mobile-specific metrics after launch and keep improving the mobile experience as a first-class priority.

FAQ

Common questions

What to know before you get started.

What share of traffic is actually mobile for most businesses? expand_more
It varies by industry, but for many consumer and local service businesses in the UAE, most visits come from phones. Even B2B sites often see a large share of mobile traffic. We look at your own analytics rather than assuming.
Does mobile-first design mean the desktop experience suffers? expand_more
No. Mobile-first means we solve the hardest constraints first: a small screen, touch, and variable connections. Then we enhance the design for larger screens and more capable devices. The desktop experience is usually better, not worse.
How important are Core Web Vitals on mobile vs desktop? expand_more
Google uses mobile-first indexing and mobile Core Web Vitals when ranking. Poor mobile performance hurts organic visibility and paid Quality Scores. We optimise for real-world mobile conditions, such as busy 4G and 5G networks, patchy indoor signal and mid-range devices, because that is where most users are.
What are the most common mobile UX mistakes you see? expand_more
Tiny tap targets, hover-only interactions, horizontal scrolling, forms that are painful on a mobile keyboard, slow image loading, and text that needs zooming. We work from a checklist and fix these one by one.
Can we just use a responsive theme and be done? expand_more
A good responsive base helps, but most off-the-shelf themes still need real work on performance, touch targets, form usability, content order on small screens and the conversion flow. Mobile-first is a way of thinking and working, not just a technical feature.
How do you test on real mobile devices? expand_more
We test on real phones and tablets, on real mobile connections and not only on Wi-Fi emulators. We also use remote testing services for wider device coverage. Emulators are useful early on but are not enough for final checks.
Does AMP still matter for mobile? expand_more
Less than it used to for most sites. We focus on fast, high-quality mobile experiences built with modern web techniques. AMP can still be useful for certain content types, such as news and blogs, where instant loading from Google search is valuable.
How does mobile design affect conversion rates? expand_more
A lot. Mobile users are often in a different context: on the go, distracted, using one hand, and with less patience for friction. Small improvements in mobile UX often produce big gains in conversion, because the starting experience on many sites is poor. For UAE businesses where WhatsApp is a main contact route, a clear tap-to-chat button matters.
What about tablets and larger mobile devices? expand_more
We design for a range of screen sizes and orientations. Tablet experiences are often closer to desktop but still benefit from touch-friendly elements. We test the most common breakpoints and devices for your audience.
How do you handle content that is important but secondary on mobile? expand_more
With progressive disclosure: show the most critical information and actions first, then let users expand or move to supporting content. We are strict about what must be visible on the first screen of a phone.
Can mobile optimisation help with paid media costs? expand_more
Yes. Better mobile experiences improve Quality Score and relevance signals, which can lower cost per click. Faster pages also cut wasted spend on visitors who leave before converting. Mobile CRO is often one of the quickest ways to improve the return on Google Ads and Meta Ads budgets in AED.
Do you recommend separate mobile sites (m. domains)? expand_more
Almost never. A responsive or adaptive site on a single URL is better for users, SEO and maintenance. Separate mobile sites create duplicate content, redirect issues and inconsistent experiences. We strongly prefer one responsive site.
How do you balance rich visuals with mobile speed? expand_more
With a smart asset plan: modern formats, correct sizing, lazy loading and priority for the key images. We often use fewer, stronger images on mobile and let desktop carry more visual richness. Speed and good looks can go together when it is done well. That matters for hospitality, property and retail brands in Dubai, where visuals sell.
What accessibility considerations are especially important on mobile? expand_more
Touch target size, colour contrast (phones are often used in bright sunlight), font scaling, focus order for screen readers, and avoiding motion that can cause discomfort. Mobile accessibility overlaps heavily with good mobile UX.
