London search behaves like a chain of small towns. Islington, Hackney, Croydon, Richmond and Bromley each have their own high streets, postcodes and map results, so a page that talks about London in general tends to please nobody.
Competition is thick: national brands, directories and property portals such as Rightmove, Zoopla and OnTheMarket sit above most searches. Smaller firms win on service-plus-area searches, on Google Business Profile (the listing that shows on the map) and on proof.
Islington's Georgian and Victorian conversions, Croydon's suburban semis and town-centre flats, and Richmond's riverside terraces call for different wording.
Gas Safe for gas work and an electrical scheme such as NICEIC or NAPIT for electricians, and redress schemes for property firms, belong on the page as proof, not as search words. We market licensed firms and do not hold the licences ourselves.
